Milla 17, and Leo not much more, run away to a small town by the English Channel. A love to live, a life to invent, a life to hold on to, always, no matter what.

Valérie Massadian

Valérie Massadian is a franco-armenian photographer and film- maker. From her background in photography, she keeps the freedom and the rigor of the face to face. Her work concentrates on female characters. Their an- imality, how they relate to the world and nature. Nurtured by relationships built over time with each protagonist, her films play with the boundaries of fiction, redrawing their own. Her first feature Nana won the “Best Feature” award in the the 7th Athens Avant-Garde Film Festival.

The 9th Athens Avant-Garde Film Festival is carried out in the context of “Cinephilia in the New Age II” which is funded by the European Union — European Regional Development Fund (Operational Programme ROP ATTIKI of NSRF 2014-2020). All actions are carried out under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports.
